Somaliland  has a population of about 3.5 million
More than 73% of the Somaliland population live in poverty and 43% in extreme poverty and unemployment are widespread.

The GDP per head is $226 a head per year. If this figure is divided by 365 days, one can clearly see that people are living on below $1 a day.

More than 78% of the population have no access to healthcare.

Let me ask the Kulmiye party, that what has your government done for this country? It seems the Somaliland government has done nothing except raised taxes and increased corruption.

In Somaliland, there is, obviously, freedom of speech, but at the same time the opposition parties are not allowed to use the ''national television'', which, by the way, is run by public tax money.

The Kulmiye Party and Mr. President Ahmed Siilaanyo, your manifesto, although being a big book with full of promises, we have not, however, for these three and a half years seen anything except more corruption everywhere the country.
